Jordanna
Jordanna is an R&B singer and songwriter from Chicago. I had the pleasure of designing her a logo and wordmark for the release of her first EP “Sweet Tooth”.
Jordanna came to me with a few concepts to start off: 80’s, girly and Bubbly. Below are the three initial concepts that I shared. In the end I came up with the idea of ‘Varsity Barbie’. Inspired by lettering on Varsity jackets, but with the girly aspect of Barbie.
Once the logo was created, I used the same style to create the wordmark for the EP Sweet Tooth. This was used for marketing and the album cover. I have continued to work with Jordanna to design and illustrate the following posters for events that she has put together. For each poster I have used a similar color pallet and a bubbly or curly font to help keep her branding consistent.
