Quaker Oats Redesign Concept | Packaging Design

My objective was to redesign the classic Quaker Oats packaging to appeal to a younger male audience. I created a rugged, vintage feel with a muted color pallet, texture and typography.

PROCESS:

To create the texture seen on the packaging I crumpled the flat design and re-scanned it, to get a completely organic texture.

For the colors and textures I was inspired by weathered wood grains, vintage newspapers, and Jack Daniels whiskey, all outdoorsy, masculine things.
